Recently, Executive Director, Communications and Engagement, Novartis Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa Ruth Kuguru shared her thoughts on engaging employees to help unblock better heart health in Asia in an informative piece featured in hrmasia. Her article highlighted the links between employee health and well-being and successful business outcomes, all of which are benefited by better cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention.
Ruth’s article builds upon the recent momentum Novartis spearheaded to combat CVD after holding the Unblocked APMA Challenge in September, a Novartis APMA initiative aimed at encouraging its associates to take action on their own heart health, as well as raising awareness of heart health with external stakeholders.
